Your water bill is made up of two components:
Base Charge - This part of your bill is based on your water meter size; the charge increases as the meter size increases. This charge remains consistent each billing period within a given year.
Volumetric Charge - This charge is based on the amount of water you use and follows a tiered rate structure. The cost increases as usage rises, encouraging conservation and ensuring high water users contribute more to support the system’s additional capacity needs.

The right lane of I70, around the 73 mile-mark eastbound, will remain closed throughout the afternoon due to an accident that occurred early this morning. Thankfully, there were no injuries.
