The Town Council of Parachute has approved Resolution No. 2024-28, declaring the presence of blighted areas and establishing the Parachute Urban Renewal Authority under the Colorado Urban Renewal Law. This new authority will oversee the redevelopment and rehabilitation of these areas. The Commission has not yet held its first meeting.
